Flattering Christmas Jumpers

I know it’s very early to be thinking about this, but I wondered if all the experts on here could help me?

I am a size 12/14 with a big bust. In my younger days I was an hourglass shape but as I age I am more apple now.

During the festive period I need to wear Christmas jumpers quite a lot a work, but find the traditional knitted crew necks very unflattering.

Where could I find batwing/boat neck/v neck Christmas jumpers or tops? I’m happy to throw a bit of money at this.

The only place I have been able to find any with a different neck shape is TEMU but I’d rather not buy from there.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh 😱! You said the C word and it’s around 25 degrees!

Is subtle sparkle Christmassy enough for you? Some bargains to be had as it's out of season, when I worked in retail a lot of women liked these as a nod to the Christmas Jumper without having Santa emblazoned on their boobs

I googled v neck lurex jumper, these are a few examples

Next had some 'winter' themed rather than Christmas jumpers last year that were different styles and more flattering

Joe browns have lovely Christmas dresses, much nicer and cooler too

I know!! I’m so sorry. I like to try to get ahead of the game.

thanks so much for the suggestions so far. I love the sparkly v necks but I think there would be an expectation for a more overt Christmas design. The winter themed Next jumpers might be ideal but I think I might be a bit early for these..

The Joe Brown dresses are lovely and absolutely my style/shape.

Im quite surprised there aren’t more shape/fit options. There must be quite a number of us who don’t suit traditional higher neck wooly jumpers!

Would a shirt/blouse in a Christmas print suit you better? Vivienne of Holloway get their Raglan blouse, circle skirt and some dresses in a range of Christmas designs; I chose a small holly print tow years ago and several people admired it.

Christmas Jumper and Tasteful or Flattering are rarely seen in the same sentence.

Last year I bought a black scarf with bronze patterns. Christmassy. Holly leaves, fir trees type. Nice with a smart black jumper not too OTT

Can you find a flattering non-Xmas jumper and then 'Christmas it up' with a rotating selection of vintage seasonal brooches from eBay - glitzy trees, diamanté snowflakes, reindeer, etc? It's what I do!

Or jewellery - a snowflake necklace or earrings. I received this as a gift last year and wore it lots over the festive period with different tops:

The traditional Fair Isle patterns look quite winter/festive if you choose your colours carefully. They don't scream out Jolly Ho Ho Ho either 😀

Yes I bought a couple for winter , one black/white one pink/navy with white

I like the think I look more “ one of the women from ABBA” rather than Christmas Jumper

Roman Originals usually have a selection of sparkly batwing tops which might work. Not explicitly Christmassy but close enough for me!
