Revlon lip liner - creamy, intense, does not budge
Loreal Extraordinary Night Oil (Purple bottle) - makes hair soft, smells amazing, not really oil at all
Avon Shower Cream (not crème) - scent, lather, no dryness…

Maybelline tattoo liner. Goes on really smooth and doesn't smudge at all.

I will look at that lipliner. have been buying mac ones for £20.

For me it's the morrisons hand cream in a pink tube, I think it's been discontinued sadly. I bought a load on ebay and have been working my way through them.

Also, Pond's cold cream. Old fashioned but great as a moisturising mask.

Q&A supergreens facial oil

CalicoPusscat · 16/08/2024 00:00

I used to love that henna wax conditioner in a white cylinder - will find the brand

Edit: natural classic

Limesodaagain · 16/08/2024 14:10

Ponds cold cream

Aldi Q10 moisturiser.

What happened to our beloved Anne French Deep Cleansing Milk? There are some odd leftover bottles going for ridiculous prices on eBay.

I like that one too, after trying all the liners.

Umberto Giannini Curl Cream, great for wavy/curly hair.

SacreBleugh · 16/08/2024 18:52

I put bio oil on my ancient face every night. It's as good as the many more expensive oils I have tried.
Also Aveno hand cream for very dry skin (£6.99 ish) is better than the L'Occitaine one I had been using.

mdinbc · 16/08/2024 19:11

SacreBleugh -
I will look for that hand cream, I like Aveno products.

maybelline SuperStay Lip Crayon. It really does stay put for hours. A friend on holidays asked if I had permanent lip tint done.

deeahgwitch · 17/08/2024 07:35

Astral cream is a lovely moisturiser.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 17/08/2024 07:37

Aldi Lacura glycolic acid toner - it is a Pixi Glow Tonic dupe but the price is very low. I find it less harsh but still effective.

Tescovalu · 17/08/2024 07:40

This.

bought from an indie in Bristol but so much better than every other face and neck moisturiser I’ve ever bought.

I’m not woo or alternative but I keep rebuying

Amphora Aromatics Frankincense &... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B09CZM2V8D?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Cobblersorchard · 17/08/2024 07:45

Nivea Day cream (pink tube one), always on offer for about £2.50-3.
I have tried so many moisturisers at the other end of the scale and always come back to this. It’s just lovely on my skin and has SPF.

Sparkletastic · 17/08/2024 07:55

MUA Stylo lipsticks from Superdrug - £3.50 and the absolute business. Previously I was strictly MAC / Lisa Eldridge / Vieve for lipsticks.

RubiesandRose · 17/08/2024 12:35

Tesco Olive body lotion, super cheap, smells lovely and absorbs really quickly. Spanish supermarkets have a version called Oliva which looks identical and is exactly the same stuff.

I was thrilled to find it in the UK and no longer have to stuff my suitcase full of it to take home.

stayathomer · 17/08/2024 12:40

cerave eye cream, hydrates, relaxes and makes you feel human.

Hask hair oil, so cheap and lasts forever (beats moroccanoil in terms of repairing hair for me personally)

Aldi’s sanctuary dupe!!

deeahgwitch · 23/08/2024 08:38

Catrice nail polish.
Lovely colours and so cheap.

SheilaFentiman · 23/08/2024 08:52

Another Nivea day cream with SPF fan
