False lashes with glue that lasts a week

Has anyone tried those false lashes with glue that lasts a week or so? I don't mean lash extensions.

That sounds unhygienic. How would the rest of the eye makeup work? I put lashes on after doing everything else. If they were on for a week that's everything else stuck underneath them for a week too. I can't see how that isn't asking for an infection.
