Scarring from bite on face

Hi,
My daughter got bitten on her forehead three weeks ago. We think it may have been a spider bite which spread. She ended up having three areas which were affected and now the scabs have finally fallen off she is left with some deep scarring. Does anyone have any suggestions of what we can do help minimise them? I am open to anything. She is 14 years old and passionate about her skincare. Thanks

Bio Oil is good for scars but remember it's going to take time before they look better.

Sun cream! Protect the new skin
Almond oil (more natural than bio oil for young skin)

Silicone scar sheets. They really work. Keep them on as much of each day as possible and as much of the first year as possible. You can cut them to size and when you peel the piece off, if you stick it somewhere like a corner of the mirror you can dtick it back in your skin later (useful because they are rather pricey).

Just to reassure your daughter about the long term - in my 20s I was bitten by a dog and had a deep scar. I thought it would be permanent. Actually it completely healed over a period of about a year.

You can get the scar tape from Amazon cheaply but I don't think it's for fresh scars (?) I tried on my surgery scar fro. The beginning of the year and it was really irritating

Thanks everyone. We will try out your suggestions and also let her read this to give her some reassurance.

Make applying the oil a daily thing and keep going until the bottle is empty! You could Google some massage movements to make it more of a treat than a chore .
Young skin doesn't need loads of products , keep it simple and as natural as possible x
