Vegetarian collagen-does it work?

Bumbleebeetree · 14/08/2024 12:34

I look wrinkly and tired with dull skin. I had a John Lewis skin consultation and have been recommended to try a collagen supplement.

Anyone have any experience of using veggie collagen and do you think it works or is it a waste of money?

Are there any brands you recommend?

TIA

Collagen is an animal product. There are vegan 'collagen' products but they act in a different way. I tried one for a couple of months and saw no difference at all...

Hoping I can be proven wrong.

The only vegetarian collagen that works is eggshell. I prepare it similar to pescatarian collagen - pressure cook shells.

I keep reading about Feel which says its version of collagen has proven results.
I use Marine at the moment.
