Interview outfit help

Planning ahead before I even hear back, but I’m hoping to have an interview in about three weeks.

The summer weather is throwing me a bit. It will be 21c ish but I really don’t want to be sweaty.

I know the culture of the place, people who work there would tend to wear blouse and trousers and smart shoes to chinos and slightly less smart shoes. The odd person in a dress.

For an interview though, I’m a bit stuck. I’ve not had an in person one since pre Covid. I wore a dress and jacket to that one.

I have lots of wide legged trousers and blouses, but is that smart enough?

I think wide legged trousers and a blouse is definitely smart enough - it's classic office wear, especially in the heat! As long as both are neat, ironed, clean etc then that sounds professional and I wouldn't bat an eyelid

if possible id wear similar to what the company individuals on average wear, or for me its a smart suit and trousers

I’d make sure everything is smart, eg bag, shoes, hair, face, nails etc. So, yeah, I maybe just wear my smartest/favourite blouse and trousers. Or the ones that go with my super nice shoes.
