Il Makiage

Has anyone here tried Il Makiage foundation? I keep seeing adverts online and rave reviews, but I'm always a bit skeptical of these things! 🙈 is it really worth the hype?!

I love it, but it gets mixed reviews on here.

No. You have to use loads to get full coverage and it made my eyes water like crazy so makeup constantly ruined anyway. Never had the eye watering issue with other foundations. God knows what they put in it.

The normal one is thin and splits. Coverage is shockingly bad. The after party one is like wearing stage make up, it’s a very heavy make up look.

Really really bad. Oxidised horribly and was definitely not full coverage.

It was not full coverage in the slightest, also found it very thin and made my face incredibly dry when on. Also had a very strong smell

I bought it and ended up not using it. My cat had most use of it by destroying the box.
I have combination skin and it makes it oily, coverage is almost nonexistent. And the shade was too dark.
I am back to Clarins after years of using other brands and is so much better, don’t even feel I have foundation on.

Never tried it but I always thought it looked really thick and heavy in their adverts which put me off so I’m really surprised to read that it’s very thin!

Poor match so sent it back.
