Botox - Lips or face first?

Never tried this before - is it face first or lips? Not enough pennies for both.

Not sure - but I dont think Botox is used in lips - it's fillers.

Alifemadelessordinary · 08/08/2024 18:06

What are you trying to treat? A photo of your face may help.
As the PP said. Lip injections are hyaluronic acid fillers. That compound is naturally found in the body so seemed less scary than the "toxin" anti wrinkle but I have had both regularly.

Botox first and see what you think. It's much more subtle and it wears off if you don't like it. I have for head and crows feet done bloody fabulous I said never for years now I'm a huge fan. Pick a practitioner strictly on the recommendation of someone you know irl who has it and looks good.

I took the plunge after I couldn't stop complimenting a friend who looked really rested and fresh. She was surprised I couldn't immediately tell it was botox.

Lip filler is mi h more obvious but it can look brilliant - again pick a practitioner who has worked on someone you know.

I'm 45 I wish I'd done it sooner

Botox I'd say. And a subtle dose.

I personally don't like the lip filler look.

But I do have some baby Botox occasionally and it make me look a lot better. I have a lot more forehead wrinkles than most my age. If they were the 'standard' wrinkles I'd go without.

Botox stops wrinkles. It doesn't plump up lips. You need filler for that.

I'd start with baby botox, a small amount in forehead and 11s frown lines.

If you like it, you could have some in the laughter lines around your eyes.

If you decide to get your lips filled, only go for a very small amount.

BTW lip filler hurts a fuck of a lot more than botox in your face!

Hoe old are you? Why do you think you need either? Both require upkeep .
What would you do if it went wrong? Or you hated it? All genuine questions Its not something I would consider doing I find it fascinating that people do!
