Sauths: Another Insta Scam

Has anyone else had trouble returning items to Sauths? They’ve been tempting me on Insta for a while now and I finally gave in and spent some of my precious holiday money on two dress- coming to a total of £200! They arrive and the sizing and cut is awful- totally unflattering and wrong. Garments quite cheaply made.

I immediately applied to return them and got an automated message to say that because one item had been discounted then they wouldn’t take either dress back!

They only relented slightly when I emailed them again. Now they are saying they’ll take the non-discounted dress back. But the catch is that I have to pay to post it back to their U.K. office AND I don’t get a refund until the item is back with them in Lithuania!

What’s the betting they’ll find some reason to lose the parcel or reject the refund?

Avoid this company at all costs. It is not worth the pain of something turns up wrong. They obviously don’t do refunds.

Bump- just wanted to see if anyone had the same issue and warn people.

I'm not a lawyer, but according to this the 14 day cooling off period would apply in Lithuania too. I can see from their FAQs that they do say that 'last chance' discounted items are non-returnable. I suspect that's not legal. Lesson learned OP and thanks for the warning.

Thanks for that! I’ve been arguing with them all morning that their policies aren’t correct!

I’m going to see if my bank will be able to charge back the amount.
