Victoria Beckham make up

violetfox · 05/08/2024 20:57

Would anyone happen to have any experience with Victoria Beckham make up, particularly the kajal eyeliners and bronzers?

I want to treat myself to some fabulous, luxe make up and hers looks gorgeous, but it would be a pain for me to go and see the counter in person and I don't want to be disappointed

Thanks!

They are really good! Very pigmented

PizzaFecker · 05/08/2024 21:16

& her face cream is made with augustinus Bader

Hoppinggreen · 05/08/2024 21:21

I have 2 eyeliners and they are really good

I only have one kajal eyeliner and it's brilliant.

Purplecatshopaholic · 05/08/2024 21:25

I have a few of her eye pencils (the thick ones and the thinner ones) - love them, they are excellent. Her serum in Golden (the one with Augustine Bader) is really lovely too.

The eyeliners are amazing, I don't really like wearing make up but will do when I need to - and love wearing this, doesn't sting my eyes at all and it blends so easily.

violetfox · 05/08/2024 21:32

Thank you, that's a pretty clear consensus!

I have 4 eyeliners - bronze, cinnamon, sequin green and olive - and they’re beautiful. If you scribble them over your eyelid on top of a primer you can blend out and they become an eyeshadow. I like that versatility. I also have 2 of the lip glosses - poolside and aperitivo - which are also lovely. And I have one eyeshadow stick in caramel, super easy to use and looks amazing.

The nuanced colours are one of the best things about VBB I think. If you can, sign up for the loyalty programme - I did a while ago and I get free delivery on everything now, so no hassle to just order one item. Also, they do good offers - a couple of weeks ago, you could order anything from the range and they added a free bronze eyeliner which was a great deal! And lastly, depending how long you want to wait, they do excellent Black Friday offers - 25% off often, I’m planning to stock up now I know what my favourites are.

I have the kajal eyeliner and they are lovely colours, but I find them very soft and hard to sharpen. The VB sharpener is worse than my Boots cheapie. The liner keeps breaking off and I've had whole bits of it just fall out. As nice as they are, they're too expensive for most of it to end up in the bin. Urban Decay are a good alternative and have great colours.

MujeresLibres · 05/08/2024 21:50

I love the eyeliners although I do find they transfer a little. I now actually prefer the Zoeva eyeliners, which are good dupes.

XiCi · 05/08/2024 21:52

I don't think I've ever been so disappointed with a lux make up product than the VB kajal eyeliner. It's very very soft, smudges so easily and ends up half way down your face. It's just ended up flung at the bottom of my make up bag. It's probably the worst eyeliner I've bought

Jemimapuddleduk · 05/08/2024 21:54

Love the kajal eyeliners and also the brow gel.

TheMithrasDirective · 05/08/2024 22:11

I'm a fan of the eyeliners too. Beautiful colours and so soft and smooth. I haven't had any break, although they do wear down quickly- they need sharpening almost every use. That said, I've had all mine for a while now and they're still going, so I think worth the money.

Cocolapew · 05/08/2024 22:13

I have the eyeliner and its ok, not worth the money though, I wouldn't re-buy.

They are soft aren't they. I found that sharpening after they've been in the fridge for a while really helps.

juicelooseabootthishoose · 05/08/2024 22:30

I have one and its a gorgeous colour but doesn't stay on. But i do struggle with eyeliners staying on generally

LoneHydrangea · 05/08/2024 22:32

I have the kajal pencil. It’s nice but you can’t sharpen it. And it doesn’t stay put. So I would not buy again.

mrsmama · 05/08/2024 22:34

I have 2 VB eye liners, wouldn’t buy them again as not worth the price.Too soft and smudgy and end up smudged all over within a short time of applying. They are very pigmented and easy to apply , shame about no staying power . Very difficult to sharpen too.Even the much much cheaper Boots/ Maybelline type eye liners stay on better!

ISeriouslyDoubtIt · 05/08/2024 22:38

I succumbed to the hype over the Kajal eyeliners, I wanted a budgeproof pencil and believed they would be it. Wrong! Good colour but absolutely no staying power, smudged under my eyes and disappeared so quickly, one of the worst pencils I've ever bought. Would never buy again.
However, I really like the cream blush stick, great colour, goes on easily and lasts for ages.

DramaAlpaca · 05/08/2024 22:39

I love them, I have a few. I can actually manage a smoky eye with them because they are beautifully soft. I like that you can blend them. On my skin, it stays put all day. The colours are gorgeous. It can be a bit annoying to sharpen them though.
