Do you scale back your skincare routine

I've finally got myself a good skincare routine. It's only taken me until I'm in my 50's!
I'm off on a beach holiday next month and just wondering if I should bring everything or cut back to the essentials.
So do you scale back your slim care routine when you travel or is it business as usual? If you do scale back what are your essential items that you won't travel without?
For reference I cleanse, tone, serum and moisture in the morning. Evening I cleanse, tone and apply a face/eye cream.

I’d take as much as I can

It depends on where I’m going. If it’s somewhere hot and humid I skip my daytime serum, use a more heavy duty sunscreen and a stronger cleanser to get rid of all the sunscreen and sweat. If it’s somewhere cold I use a heavier, richer moisturizer and a gentler cleanser. But the basics: cleanse, moisturize, sunscreen for day and retinol for night - these are the same wherever I am.

I decant everything into travel containers and label them I’ve never taken anything full size apart from olaplex 9.

I do, but I use active ingredients in my routine that I wouldn’t want to use in the sun.

To be honest, I think your routine is what I would call ‘the essentials’ anyway. I’m not sure what you’d take out.

I stick with it. Just double cleanse to remove the extra sunscreen and make up I inevitably wear. And a tube of E45 to take care of any upsets from the plane or temperature changes.

I haven’t been on a sunny holiday since starting retinol at night but I’m very fair so would probably stop using it for the holiday to reduce my sunburn risk.

Thanks everyone. Really helpful. I've got room so will probably end up taking everything.

If I'm going somewhere sunny I don't take my tret, but I cleanse , serum & moisturiser / sunscreen.
