Trainers to go with dresses - Apple shape

Hi :-) Can anyone recommend any trainers that look nice with girlie style dresses? I’m an apple shape and find trainers can make me look a bit chunky. I’m after feminine stylish trainers but also comfortable and supportive?!

I wear these which look much less clumpy than trainers as they don’t come up the foot fully. Not sure if these are trainery enough for what you want?

Oh no!

Those are very nice. Don't know about the OP but they are sufficiently untrainerly that I'd wear them.

I send @minipie's recommendation, any trainer with a low vamp will counteract the stumpification factor of trainers with bare legs. I have several pairs of the old model of those Converse, which were even lower on the foot and more flattering to my eye, called 'Converse Dance', I've managed to swipe them on eBay in several colours!

I have this problem, in fact I basically don't wear trainers because they make me look bigger (also Apple shaped, with big boobs and long legs).

I tend to wear comfy ballet flat style shoes, sometimes styled to look more like trainers - so Bobs from Skechers, Allbirds tree breezers, and I have done low-vamp RocketDog trainers like the Converse upthread. Basically low-vamp, flat soled shoes.

I do have some Adidas which I like with flares (so a lot of the shoe is covered). But otherwise, it's ballet flat type shoes, sandals or boots.

I have Filas from Deichmans, so comfortable and really feminine.
