Zipping up a dress that's a little too tight?

Please help! I have the dress of my dreams but it won't zip up! It's almost there though!!!

Any tips on getting it up?

I did this, wore a dress to an event, zip popped while dancing and I had to leave early. 🫣

Are there any darts that can be let out? Or any room to let out the seams? It would probably leave marks but personally I'd prefer that to not daring eat, drink or move all evening in case the dress split - because excess flesh tends to find another way out, I've been there.

If it's tight at the bust try a different bra, or no bra! And pull your boobs about a bit so they are in the right place for the darts/seams.

Don't do it. The risks of getting stuck are horrible - especially if it's around your chest or neck.
