šŸ‘‹šŸ¼ I’m getting into a bit of an online shopping minefield looking for a new foundation. I’m needing full coverage, natural or mattefying (nothing glowy) and ideally can be colour matched in a store?!

My favourite is Too Faced, Born This Way, both the foundation and concealer. I've tried loads and love these.

I have been loving the Trinny BFF. There are a few department stores that have stands but you'd need to check the options where you live.

EstƩe Lauder double wear is the favourite

I have trinny BFF I wouldn't say it's mattifying, I like it, but I prefer something soft matte or luminous, double wear is drying and aging on me. I really rate phoera, it's unbelievable, matte, very high coverage but natural, you could powder if you wanted to really set it, I know many women using it, including my usual double wear pals. I use everything from Chanel, trinny, Charlotte Tilbury, nars, Dior and it's honestly right up there, I go back to it again and again which is amazing considering I choose it over so many high end brands. It's about Ā£7. There are only a few shades and I have two and somehow both kind of work šŸ˜…

At the age of 77, I need a full coverage foundation to cover up age blemishes, and the first one I used to use was Dior Forever Undercover which was very good but quite expensive. I tried a couple of cheaper brands and settled on L’Oreal Infallible Matt Cover 32 hours (in a tube), which was a better match colour-wise, and more affordable at about Ā£12.

MAC Studio Fix Oil Control or Bobbi Brown Weightless Skin Foundation. Both natural-matte finish, easy to build up and layer, plus good range of shades.

Bobbi Brown is more expensive than the MAC one but on Bobbi Brown UK website website using the code BRUSH will get you a free foundation brush which usually costs £39 on its own. Mini sizes also for sale on BB (but no free brush with a mini). MAC are having 20% off currently on their website.

I have so many foundations. I’ve just bought the new Maybelline one - lumi matte. Has a white lid. It’s brilliant! One of the best out of all mine (I have Dior forever, Chanel velvet, Sisley ones, EstĆ©e Lauder double wear - which I do still like) but this looks natural and lasts. Its under Ā£15 too
