I want to order a pair online.
Are they true to size?
Thank you.

I always size down. I'm a 39 but 38 in Birkenstocks.

GettingStuffed · 31/07/2024 20:42

Ditto the above, I've even got 37 on

EwwSprouts · 31/07/2024 20:43

Definitely size down.

2chocolateoranges · 31/07/2024 20:44

Everyone says size down however dd and I both wear our normal size .

BeansMeansBeans · 31/07/2024 20:44

Oh I just got my size and haven't had problems... Sorry to muddy the waters!

lolaran · 31/07/2024 20:45

I wear usual my size but buy the narrow ones which I find fit me much better

Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies · 31/07/2024 20:45

True to size, but wide. So if, like me, you tend to size up for width purposes, you won't need to.

Rhaidimiddim · 31/07/2024 20:46

As with the first postets, I go down a size. 40 in most makes, 39 in Birkesnstocks

Hangingupnow · 31/07/2024 20:47

I buy my usual size but my feet are a bit wide.

Newuser75 · 31/07/2024 20:51

I have my usual size!

VivelaFrance · 31/07/2024 20:52

I wear my usual size.

sillylittlethings · 31/07/2024 20:58

Now I'm even more confused! Thank you all for the quick responses though.
I'd say I need the slim for and I'm usually a 6 (39).
I'm looking at the suede ones with two straps and big buckles.
Do you all find them comfortable?
I don't usually wear sandals and stick to trainers as I walk quite a bit during the day. Not long walks but school runs, popping to the shops, wandering around large office block etc

I'll draw round my feet and measure them. Thanks for the link.

I go for my usual size, but I also have slightly wide feet. The size guide is good (I'm looking to replace one of my pairs). I walk a lot too and find the last a few years.

I have 2 pairs of arizonas with soft soles and in my usual size but I have wide feet

lovemycbf · 31/07/2024 21:09

They are the most comfortable shoes I've worn and I also have the suede clogs too

BeGiddyHare · 31/07/2024 21:09

Try a different pair on in shop x

fuhb · 31/07/2024 21:13

I'm a 5.5 but wear a size 5 in them, think they'd be too small if I went a full size down. They're very comfortable.

sillylittlethings · 31/07/2024 21:17

Thank you alll.
I haven't time to get to a shop before I go away. I'll order half a size smaller in the slim fit and cross my fingers!

I’m usually a size 5 (38). I used to size down to a 4 (37) as that’s what I’d read/heard. Always found them a bit uncomfortable as my foot didn’t sit properly on the footbed and my toes brushed against the front edges.
bought a pair of the Arizona big buckle last year in a size 5. They fitted perfectly and are so comfortable. Can walk miles in them. Game changer!

unsync · 31/07/2024 21:24

Use the fit guide. I see so many people wearing the wrong size or incorrectly adjusted. Your feet are supposed to have room and the straps shouldn't be tight.

Be aware that you will need to break them in. Wearing them with socks is the quickest way.

SirChenjins · 31/07/2024 21:25

I wear the same size as my usual size but they are wide - I wish I’d bought the slim fit.

samedifferent · 31/07/2024 21:26

How long does it take to break them in? I'm finding them the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn.

I agree. I’ve had mine for a few years now and still find them uncomfortable - they are for looks only.
