Can we talk about sun hats?

I have a baseball cap for walking the dog but I'm looking for something to keep me nicely shaded and a little less straggly when I'm away next month. I must have a shallow crowned bonce as most straw hats end up covering my eyes too. I think a fedora style is most practical and wearable (as much as I'd love to waft about with a 4ft floppy brimmed exclusion zone at all times). Any recommendations?

Accessorize had a lot with an adjustable string inside the hat to adjust the fit.

I bought a straw fedora style from Primark (emergency purchase as decided to take myself off to a park after getting coffee). £5 and has the strings to adjust.

Ive also picked nice ones up from Tesco previously so worth having a look.

I am unfamiliar with the adjustment strings. They sound very useful, I shall investigate.

I have a Tilley classic T3 hat. Shallow crown, adjustable ties. Not exactly glamorous but extremely practical.

I've got a very smalll head and really struggle to find hats that fit (I've been known to buy kids' hats 😭).

This summer I've bought a Uniqlo bucket hat which is adjustable. Was very effective when used on a. Quick European weekend jaunt. And can be rolled up small, so handy for travel (my main issue with fedora-type hate is how difficult they are to take when travelling)
