Help with short torso rectangle body type aka square!

Sorry if this has been done before but i haven't seen much about my body type and need help with style. Im all arms, legs and stomach with no bust!

i'm 5ft 9, 10st 6 for the last 6 months (usually 10st to 9st 12), 36 B and 31 inch waist. Usually a UK 12 or 14. Carry all my weight between the bottom of ribs and top of hips. Im short waisted so ribs look like they are very close to the hips and no defined waist line.

I cant seem to find any photos of women who have a similar short torso block-like and no bust shape. Its all apples or rectangles!

I'm also really struggling with how to dress. I hate dresses and shorts. I've been wearing vests not tucked into the waist band to try and elongate my body but i still look wide and out of balance.

I can add a photo (would really rather not) but any help would be amazing as it's getting annoying - not feeling good in summer clothes or anything for that matter.

Thanks

First things first - are you sure about your bra size? At your height, weight and waist size I'd expect you to be a smaller back size, larger cup size (even though you say you have no bust). Or were you measured at M&S years ago and have continued to wear that size..?

Unfortunately I was going to suggest a dress, as it sounds like they would work best with your shape. Why do you hate them?

A photo would really help people advise, if you can block out your face etc.

i have huge varicose veins on both shins and i hate long dresses unfortunately. ok, here's a photo.

no i did bra intervention thing. i was wearing an m & s 38A but i measured myself and am a 34 B when i'm 9st 12 and 36 B at 10st 6.

Thanks for you reply!

You look great! I don't know what you're worrying about. We are always our own worst critics. It might be easier to comment if we saw a full length picture of you wearing an outfit you feel is flattering or unflattering. Would oversized tops work for you? I'm thinking Cos styling, at 5'9 you can probably pull that off.

i will find an unflattering but more realistic shot after a day of eating and my usual bloating. thanks for replying.

oversized tops are fine in principle - id always thought they look awful on me but very comfy.
