Birkenstock clogs

I haven't worn many Birkenstock shoes before. Are the clog style (covered toes) ones comfortable to wear without socks? I've read very mixed reviews about them. Also, how well do they stay on? Normally I don't do well with shoes with no back or heel strap, but with the contoured sole, do they stay on your feet if you buckle them tightly?

You could try the clogs with a backstrap?

I’m the same - love the look of that style but they fly off my feet!

I love mine and find them very comfortable. UGG do a version with a back strap which look good.

I love the bostons and wear them without socks. I buy the narrow fit. Birkenstocks aren't everyone but I love them.

I have three pairs of Bostons, plus the sheepskin lined slipper ones. I bought the first pair (black leather) on Depop a few years back to see if I like them, then got tan suede and DP bought me taupe leather earlier this year. Wear them with or without socks and find them very comfy, and love the look of them with eg a chunky knit sock and wide leg jeans. I do have quite wide feet though.

I love my Bostons. I haven’t worn with socks.. I think I would need a size bigger to do that.
They are great trans-seasonal wear.
