When I bought the pattern for this pinafore dress I was working with under-7s. I'm not any longer, but I still like the dress, especially the way it's been made in two colours.
How can I tweak the design so that it looks less like I work in a preschool? Colours? Patterns? Length? Something else?
I work in an environment where we are expected to be neatly dressed, not necessarily elegant or formal, though those are also acceptable as long as they are also practical.
