Help please for swimsuit for teen DD - light support/shaping for the bust but NO tummy control - does it exist?

DD(14) needs a new swimsuit. She's very slim (size 6 maybe?) and probably (I'm guessing here) around B cup. So quite petite. She'd like something a bit more flattering and grown up than the basic one pieces she has worn up until now, with a bit of support and perhaps light padding around the bust (to stop anything showing as much as anything else) but obviously doesn't need shapewear at her age and size.

I've been searching and searching but the options either seem to be sports style/completely plain OR sculpted cups with tummy control. I've got a lovely Boden swimsuit with a control panel, and yes it is flattering for my middle age midriff, but it's not as comfortable as it would be without the panel, especially to wear all day. So I'd rather DD didn't have to put up with shapewear for no reason!

She's still growing so don't want to spend loads (£30 max I think). Plain black is her preference.

Any suggestions of brands I could look at, oh wise ones? I've tried the obvious ones (H&M, Next, JL, M&S etc).

I suspect that even the stores that you mentioned are a little too grown up.
Try ASOS, Zara, River Island, Pretty Little Thing, boohoo, misguided. As a small busted gal, I've found that you can't really see the coverage/padding from pics but they're often doubled or have a light insert.

Good luck.

My only thought is would shapewear even bother her if she doesn't need it and has no tummy to be controlled? I guess the fabric is thicker but they're not uncomfortable are they?

Alternatively if she would like a bit more style there is this from La Redoute, but no bust padding I think

Speedo to a lot of style with a built in bust shelf support thing, and no tummy control
for example this

Does it have to be a swimsuit rather than a bikini?
