Do you make your own tinted moisturiser?

I like something lighter in summer but don't want to buy a foundation and a tinted moisturiser so I've started mixing my foundation with sunscreen/moisturriser on the back of my hand and I can wear it neat when I want to. The thing is do you use a darker foundation for making a tinted moisturiser and rather than keeping mixing it on the back of my hand which can be a faff to do every morning, is it OK to mix it in a pot and have it ready prepared or will it go off?

I'd mix it with whatever cheap foundation was my shade. I would just pour some of the liquid foundation into the moisturiser pot and use that, lasted a week or so. Obviously you still want to ensure it's blended, even though it's 90% lotion.

I mix my normal foundation with Clarins beauty flash balm and get a good result.
I've never tried mixing a pot but I'm going to now, great idea 👍

Thanks for your replies. I have read where it goes off in a mixing pot but somehow I can't see how.
