See through culottes - what to wear underneath?

Just that really - I've a pair of culottes which are very see through especially when the sun is behind me. What can I wear under them?

Cycling shorts?

But if it’s not too late, I’m a firm believer in returning clothes that aren’t right.

You mention the sun being behind, so how see through is see through? If it’s just leg silhouette, l wouldn’t be bothered. If it’s obvious what colour knickers you have on and a thong would not work with them either, l would be tempted to return them.

I'd wear either cycling shorts or a boxer style underpant. Definitely no spotty underwear! 😂

I used to wear them in the 1980s when culottes were fashionable.
