Skincare Maximalists - what’s your routine?

If you’re using actives in your routine, what order do you use your actives in?
Im currently using tret (PM), vit c (AM) and Hyaluronic acid (AM/PM), but looking to add peptides and vitamin e in there as well, maybe niacinamide…

I am a skincare maximalist, I guess.

Anyone else? 😊

Similar to you here.
I use peptides both evening and morning but I do not use niacinamide as a stand alone product (some peptide serums contain niacinamide).
I don't use vitamin E so can't recommend a routine, I'd guess it would be a moisturiser so would probably apply in the evening at least half an hour later than tretinoin.

Here is my routine that I follow:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
la roche posay spf
Evening:
la roche posay moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

I use Tret every 3 - 4 nights

Peptide serum in between

One night in between is Alpha H liquid gold

One night will be something random I fancy like an oil, different serum,

I have a basket full of products on my bedside table

And loads more on my skin care shelf which tend to be from Beauty Advent calendars which I love or some kind of gift box.

I have very nice skin and no wrinkles

I'm mid 50's

Night

Tret o.1% with azelaic acid and niacinamide

Which peptide, HA, Egf serum do you use? I use these but they are 3 separate serums so would ve good to have all in one!

I am, in that I use actives in my routine and it's a step up from soap & water, but at the same time I try not to have an overwhelming amount of steps or loads of products that don't get used. Current routine:

AM
Wash with water
Vitamin C (Sali Hughes Must-C)
Moisturiser (Geek & Gorgeous Happier Barrier)
SPF (La Roche Posay or Beauty of Joseon)

PM
Remove makeup (Simple micellar water or M&S rose cleansing balm)
Wash with Cerave foaming oil cleanser
Retinol (Geek & Gorgeous A-Game 5)
Moisturiser (Geek & Gorgeous Happier Barrier)

As needed
Charcoal mask for deep cleansing/if I've got blackheads (Origins clear improvement)
Acid toner for exfoliating (Sali Hughes Placid)
Salicylic acid spot treatment (Origins Spot Remover)

I'll probably introduce an oil for extra moisturising through the winter, maybe squalane. If I step up to the 0.1% retinal I might try a different serum on alternate nights, but it has to be something that works and isn't just hype. Three steps (cleanse, serum, moisturise) seems like the sweet spot in terms of a routine that's effective but still simple enough that I can be consistent with it, so I try to not make it more complicated than that.

It’s this one but I mix it with Hado Labo Premium Gold for HA boost.

less is more
