Mac make-up

I have been given a Mac voucher. I have never used their products. Any recommendations? I am in desperate need of mascara and a foundation. Thx

Ooh lucky you. The Mac Stack Mascara is really good, defo try that. Can’t comment on their foundation - hopefully someone else can.

I like the Studio Sculpt foundation for evening but it's too heavy for me for daytime. Mac lipsticks are popular too.

I use studio radiance foundation which is a sheer / buildable one and I find it really good - I don't like ones that feel heavy

I really like the Mac stack mascara (black and silver tube), and I still use the Mac studio fix fluid foundation which has been around for what seems like forever but it has spf 15, and it’s buildable coverage and I find it will last all day but it’s also not too sheer that you can’t wear it for the evening either.

I also recently tried the Mac hyper real range (I got the mini set to trial) really enjoyed the skin canvas balm as it’s thick but feels so smooth and I found I preferred it to my Clinique which I never thought I’d say. You also cant go wrong with a Mac lip liner and lipstick I don’t think! X

I like the new Studio Radiance and also Face and Body.

I always go back to Strobe Cream.

I use the Extended Play mascara as I can only use tubing. My eyelashes reach up to just below my brows so the Stack mascara rubs off there.

The gel eyeliners stay put (but hard to blend).

I like the Glow Play lip gloss.

The little 9 circle eyeshadow palettes are handy.

Thank you everyone for the recommendations. This gives me some great ideas! I really like the sound of the hyper real range and the glow play lip gloss.

But a lesson - last time I had one the charge was redeemable so you'll learn how to use the product too. If you can get to a counter that is.
