Dermatica dosage not enough

Does anyone find that the Dermatica Tret, 2 pumps is not enough to cover your face?

I'm really struggling to make two pumps go far enough and end up resorting to three. I've tried doing tiny dots and spreading it out but it's still not quite enough.

Maybe I've just got a big face but any tips or tricks please?

You don't need it around your eyes, mouth or nose
So chin, forehead and cheeks. It doesn't stay where you've put it anyway - I can't think of the word Grin but it will migrate so doesn't need to cover every cm

@spikeandbuffy oh that makes sense. Only thing is I'm using it for lines around my eyes!

I'll skip my nose and chin though, thanks

I use 3 pumps, two for face and one for neck, and there’s enough for a month

@Bignanna oh is there? I was a bit worried about running out too soon. As long as it lasts until the next ones due, I'm happy. Thanks

Yeah because it migrates you don't need to put it next to your eyes or mouth, leave a border or it can get quite irritating
I use skin and me but have used dermatica previously

What's your prescription? Does it have Azelaic Acid? I think this can affect 'slip'.

twiddlingthumbs69 · 21/07/2024 22:00

@TheOGCCL it's 0.05% Tret. No acids/niacinamide.
Surprised me a bit that it wasn't mixed with anything.
I found skin and me daily doser went further but that included niacinamide.
I'm also applying it on damp skin. I know that's a no no but I am used to Tret.

Good grief. I only use one pump half the time. I dot it around and then spread.

When you do your first line consultation and send in selfies they usually recommend a formula. Mine has tret and niacinamide in too. You could ask them about it.
