All lipstick turns orange

I've tried many shades from nude to plum in many price ranges from Mac to Rimmel but they all turn orange on my mauve toned lips within an hour
I wonder if my lips have a different ph since menopause but I've no idea how to solve it
Does this happen to anyone else and have you found a solution?
I love wearing lipstick and I'm really disappointed.

According to the Internet, you need to choose blue toned lipsticks. Your lips might have high levels of alkaline and it’s affecting the oxides in the lipstick.

Me! My lips have always turned lipsticks orange. Weirdly now that I’m post-menopausal I can wear a few with slight orange undertones. Agree that the only lipsticks that really work are those with blue undertones.

I wonder if you tried a more purpley/mauve/bluey-toned/lip liner underneath if that would help neutralize the orange?

Not just you. Mine’s the other way, I turn reds pink.

I did try a lip liner but possibly not the right shade so I will look at those too
Does anybody know if MAC syrup might work? It's a blue- pink apparently

Temptalia says it’s neutral toned, but looking at the colour and swatches on the internet, it should be okay? I haven’t got that one, sorry.
