“It” bags of the past / styles of the past you would like to see revived?

Similar to the Dior Saddle bag being popular again. What would you like to see make a come bag?

As a youngster, I was obsessed with the enormous padlock on the Chloe Paddington. I thought I could get one of those and a crystal Juicy tracksuit and look like Paris Hilton.

Thank God I could afford neither at the time.

The big Jane Norman or Zoo bags

Accessories used to do really lovely bags. They were different and so so beautiful. I wish those would come back.

The Chloe Paddington was very heavy. I love the beaded Fendi baguette but they haven’t gone.

I was going to say the Chloe Paddington. I bloody loved mine. Although I remember feeling really fancy going into the newsagents to buy something and not being able to undo the padlock! I'd love to dig it out again.

I’ve started using a 2008 Marc Jacobs Stam bag as my everyday - I love it! Plenty of room, easy to carry and a useful front pocket.
I also was desperate for a Paddington back in the day, might have to check out the preloved prices…

Yes to the Paddington!

I loved my Luella Bartley strappy army bag. I wore it until it wore out 😢. I had it in brown leather with gold dog tags which my young child (not so young now)was fascinated by. Here’s Sienna Miller with hers in c.2007

Looking at all your lovely bag choices, I’m wondering whether the nostalgia is partly for a bag that can actually fit all your stuff in after all the mini bags and stiff sided box bags of recent years.
