The Danish royals have always done a summer holiday press photo session at Gråsten, it's a longstanding tradition of many, many years.

Of course. All photo calls are PR to an extent. I've no idea what is or isn't going on in their marriage, and tend not to give too much credence to gossip, but was just making the point that in and of itself a press session doesn't necessarily mean it was an attempt to smooth over that particular problem.

I think the turquoise really suits her and her hair looks great in that pic. It can look a bit straggly sometimes.

At first glance it reminded me of Christmas front door wreath made of gold and silver baubles. Then I looked more closely!

Poor Max seems to be suffering from post-menopausal hair thinning in common with many of us. Sadly for her she has to go through it while in the public eye. It looks much better in an up do these days.

I don't know, I think her hair has always looked a bit frazzled. But I feel like it makes her more relatable!

I agree - Max doesn't always get it right, but I like that she has fun with clothes (and jewellery!). She tries out different looks.
I think the brighter blonde look really suits her.

I think Max must have really fine hair and struggles to grow it long. Am sure the colouring and menopause don't help either but there are photoshop of her from 20 years ago with hair that is thinner at the bottom than on her crown.

She would be better with a bob or shorter cut but that would make updos with tiaras more difficult.

Prince Christian is leaving for Africa today. He is going to work on two farms for a few months, returning in December. No information has been given as to which countries he might be visiting, and the visit is private so his parents have asked that he be left to work without attention from the press.

King Harald has announced Norway has a Royal house revamp today it seems - Marius, Shaman D, and ML’s three daughters no longer members of the Royal family.

That's not new news re Marius, is it? It was announced several years ago that he wouldn't be a member of the royal family, I think when he went off to university.

I think the official royal family in norway is literally just the monarch and the heirs so S-M will eventually cease to be a member too? They dont have an aristocracy like the other Scandi countries either, so no Counts and Countesses etc.
