Linen creases easily. It's really not a big deal; in countries where it's routinely worn everyone knows it and makes allowances accordingly. That said, I think the outfits are far, far too casual for a public facing/professional visit. Meg's, in particular.
Her best outfit, almost perfect in fact, imo, was the one she wore at arrival. Even her hair was done right for the outfit, which doesn't happen all that often!
Harry's outfit on arrival was good too. Glad to see him wear something other than that grey suit/scruffy tan shoes combo.
I don't understand why she didn't just wear that top in black instead of mixing white/cream. Would have looked great and gone well with her hat.
Mules are not a practical choice for walking/dancing/etc and they look really messy hanging off one's feet whilst sitting, hence they look a bit silly IMO. But I suppose one might say well when can you actually wear them then, and I do like them as a concept so maybe I'm being harsh. Perhaps it's the private vs. public/professional distinction again.
I also like the polka dotted skirt but I agree, the crisp white shirt look is overdone. Meg should study Mary's separates styling - she generally does it very nicely and mixes it up well enough that she doesn't end up looking boring.
I like the black top/long skirt. I'd wear it. Well I wouldn't because I couldn't (boobage) but if I could, I would. With the skirt hemmed to a good length, mind.
I think her outfits have at least been quite a lot better this time than on the Nigerian visit where she really made some awful decisions. But that's not necessarily a high bar.
