This skirt

I have just bought this skirt online. I’m a bit flabby round the middle. Can I ask you fashionistas what top I should wear with it. The one that goes with it is not my thing. Would not display my midriff to my worst enemy. (There is enough suffering in the world without me starting). I don’t really suit T-shirts. So no t shirts please.

I would wear a loose plain coloured linen shirt with that. White, green, pink or red - matching the tones if possible. Or yellow! Just spotted the yellow. And I would not tuck it in!
Look at Uniqlo? I'm pretty sure they have plain linen shirts in various colours.

Tight vest top in a stretchy material with thick straps, I think Zara do them. White, cream, or any of the colours in the skirt (apart from green) would be great!

A short boxy top or shirt in cotton or linen, no longer than just meeting the waist band and not tucked in.

Inspired by another thread I think this Wiggy Kit top would look fantastic with it. (Honestly I'm not commission)
