Dermatica ingredients question

twiddlingthumbs69 · 16/07/2024 11:37

I've just been prescribed 0.05% Tret from dermatica but it doesn't list any other ingredients that are in with it.
Is this normal? Am I just getting Tret without niacinamide etc?

It's confused me a bit as skin and me give you a total breakdown of ingredients in each doser.

Will all become clear when I receive it or am I just getting straight Tret?

Anyone know?

The bottle will definitely list any other ingredients but I'd assume so would whatever you've seen so far, so maybe just tret - unusual to just be a singular ingredient from them though?

Yes, that's what I thought

I'm pretty sure my first ones were tret only and after a year it's tret, hyaluronic acid and azelaic acid.

All actives must be listed on the bottle by law (its a prescription medicine) so if nothing else is listed, tret is the only active. There is of course the vehicle, fillers etc to keep it stable.

Send them a query asking why they chose what they did, they are usually pretty responsive

@GettingStuffed what percentage did they start you off with? I'm wondering if 0.05 will be a bit strong for me?
