Vinted

I went on Vinted for the first time last week, and thought I would try to sell a couple of high quality items.
I posted a couple of photos and a fairly detailed description of a dress, and then started trying to list a pair of newish DMs when I received a notification saying I am banned! I have no idea why, and despite me asking, the only reply is a pro-forma telling me to post as many photos as possible, including of the receipts.
I don't have the receipts any more, and I can't really be bothered to take more pictures when I don't know what they are objecting to. The labels are clear, the descriptions are accurate... are there any Vinted regulars here who might be able to hazard a guess at what I may have done wrong? Or how I get to speak to a staff member? Is it normal for them to ban new posters?

Is it your own photo or is it a photo from website etc ? Could be that

Pearlinda · 14/07/2024 20:27

Yeah agree with @fruitypancake . if you’ve used screenshots from DM website they do remove your items because of that

DelphiniumBlue · 15/07/2024 23:12

Thanks for your suggestions- but it’s not that, these were my own photos. I thought I’d followed all the instructions to the letter!

When I listed some trainers recently they made me jump through hoops to prove they were genuine. And I've sold stuff on the site for years. Obviously trying to clamp down on fake goods.
