Jacket to smarten me up slightly

I'm looking for a jacket I can put on over a t shirt and jeans to make my outfit a bit more interesting or smarten up my outfit a bit

Any suggestions?

I got a linen bomber recently for this reason, H & M. The waist is straight, not gathered, which I think makes it less casual. I love it and wear it all the time.

Blazer if you want classic longevity. Chanel style or bomber if you want something on trend now.

I've had Chanel size in the past and don't think it's as flattering
