If you have ginger/copper hair (especially dyed) what shampoo do you use?

I usually have shampoo that works with my hair colour but no idea how to prevent fade in between colours here.

Any suggestions?

my hairdresser recommended revlon colour ball on amazon

Super impossible to prevent fade with such a vibrant colour.

My hair is similar and I use whatever colour shampoo is on offer but my hairdresser mixes up a "colour bomb" for me which is my colour + shampoo to use half way between colourings sessions to keep the vibrancy. You could in theory mix your own with a bit of box colour?

P.s. it's really pretty!

I don't want to start using box colour as I want to get my roots done regularly without complications. I've just had to sort my hair out over the last 4 weeks because of box dye.

But I could ask my hairdresser what colour it is and do the same?

Wella colour brilliance shampoo and conditioner. Then the wells colour fresh mask in copper glow once a monthish.
Washing hair cooler and not washing very frequently is best for fade.

Yes don't do this. The hairdresser will be giving a non oxidizing colour. Box dye is oxidising and won't last if used very long after being mixed up. It's not designed to be used this way.

I meant get a tube from her to use when ready. Not have it mixed up for weeks 😅

Or buy my own tube.

I use this between salon appointments. It's just a toner and washes out over time. Tends to be very bright on greys for first day or so (you don't look as if that would be a problem for you!)
