Let me start this by saying I am not a fashionable person! I used to be a major goth/rocker and even now I'm in my late 40s I'm most comfortable in black jeans and black t-shirt of some description. I'm starting a new job which will involve working 3 days in the office in London for a law firm. I've been told they're comparatively casual so we're not talking suited and booted, nice trainers will be acceptable but definitely not jeans. What key items do I need to buy to create a few outfits?
I have one pair of black wide leg trousers and one nice black with white stripes short sleeve top, that's about it. I do have a pair of black loafers, worn once, and a pair of white trainers that are just about still new enough to wear. I carry my weight around my middle but am otherwise slender, so need clothes that won't make me look pregnant! High waisted stuff is tricky for me in that regard. Especially as I don't have a big bust to balance it out. And I have a large upper arm tattoo so probably want to keep that at least mostly covered.
Any help greatly appreciated!
