White trainers

Are they out now? Or still in but just not wildly popular?

and yes, of course I could just wear what I like and throw any notion of looking vaguely current to the wind, but I don’t want to.

Bright and colourful trainers are very much in this season - Adidas Spezials for example. White trainers will never be ‘out’ but they’re also not particularly current or exciting.

Why do you let other people dictate what trainers you should wear?

Currently wearing exceptionally old gazelles in grey-ish. I thought it would be an easy replacement but the same shoes, same size in a bright colour - entirely different fit. I’m so frustrated

I got some all white Sambas earlier in the year and like them a lot. It’s not really been warm enough here for summer dress/trainers but they look good with jeans.

Per pp I do like Spezials and have a navy and mustard pair, and a black and white pair. I’m also a big fan of a NB 574 and have various colours of those which I liked last summer with eg gingham midi dresses. (This year I honestly think my summer dresses are going to be vacuum packed without ever being worn!)

Big white trainer fan here, particularly converse high tops and all white leather Vans. I don't like wearing them with dresses (anymore) but they're my go-to for most casual outfits!
