I quite liked it, so bought it even though it’s probably not very stylish.

I think it's cute. Not quite my style but my best friend and sister would both love it. A lovely bag OP.

Do you do cold water swimming in the sea?

SwordBilledHummingbird · 10/07/2024 18:17

I like it, where is it from?

I live by the sea but no swimming either during winter when the sea is frozen or summer. 😂

Fable England, had never heard of it before but someone linked to another product and then I found this one.

Not quite my style either, but I guess now it is!

Yes my favourites list in Zalando is full of Fable England goodies. Haven't bought anything yet though 😅

HaPPy8 · 10/07/2024 18:28

I like it ☺️ very pretty

FifteenAll · 10/07/2024 18:29

Maybe not stylish but sweet! I would comment on it if I saw you with it.

That’s where I got it from. There was also a little mouse brooch that I liked, not that I have ever worn one..

I liked this one too, but sadly I think one will have to do..

I like a lot that I see on Fable but I feel a lot of it would age me before my time! Same with the stuff on Past Times, I used to love looking at the earrings and night gowns and just imagining myself wafting around elegantly....

Yeah I know. 😂 I won’t wear the bag with ageing clothes though, but I definitely see your point.

Their brooches are adorable. They look more expensive than they are.

But wouldn’t you ruin your clothes wearing them..? I can imagine on a cardigan during autumn/winter though.

I've worn brooches since my early 30s. I have a collection of Victorian and Edwardian brooches and one Georgian brooch. I don't like Past Time as it's pastiche.

I'm also confident enough that from my early 30s onwards I'm likely to be one of the best dressed people in most situations. That's not boasting- it's what I'm told.

I have this. It's great when all you need is phone, keys and cards.

No, Why would they? Pin it to a lapel or a collar. If the pointy, sharp bit (?? There must be a word for that) is sharp enough it won't do any harm, even on a dress or jacket without a lapel.

All my wool winter coats have brooches on the lapel.

I’ve pretty much stopped caring what people think. Otto was cute!

I’ve got this one, but it actually get quite a few comments.

Ok I might just get one then, for my coat!

It really doesn't. Mrs Thatcher and Lady Hale were/are great wearers of dramatic. I think it shows confidence, not ageing
