It's another bikini one

I'm not particularly comfortable in a bikini but getting in n out of a damp swimming cossie in a hot country if you need a wee is downright difficult so I need to suck up my insecurities! Last year I wore a pair of short surf type shorts and my cropped top sports bra around the pool when not swimming and felt ok in those so I'm looking for something similar in style in a bikini.....would like a cropped top style front on the top but ideally with fastenings at the back as taking wet things off over your head is also tricky! And big knickers or boy shorts style pants. Size 12, maybe a 10 on top.
No tankini, no underwiring or push-up type bras, no cut out bits or side ties on knickers because I'll be doing watersport activities in it, I want something sporty looking but preferably without sweaty betty's price tag!

That sounds like a tankini?
You can get a 3 in 1, which usually have a crop top, larger vest and short style bottoms.

@JackieGoodman I don't really want a tankini because they're as hot as a swimsuit (which is too hot really under a rashvest and buoyancy aid) and they often result in a really annoying gap between the top and the bottoms! I just something practical not skimpy or with ridiculous cut out bits and one shoulder!

I have this www.panache-lingerie.com/shop/product/limitless-balcony-bikini-top-navy-orchid but it's last season and the sizing might not work but there might be something else out there, search for more sporty styles perhaps?

Or just push your swimming costume to the side when you need a wee!

These are good, thank you! Never heard of cupshe or seafancy!
I found the M&S top but can't find any bottoms to go with it.

@RampantKrampus I found those but can't find tops and bottoms to match in my size :(

Just pull the gusset to the side. I thought everyone did that.

dementedpixie · 11/07/2024 05:42

Try belle lingerie. I buy cup sized tops and mid rise bottoms. I buy black bikini bottoms rather than totally matching the top.

YellowSunRays · 11/07/2024 09:15

I'd avoid the Sea Fancy ones @MiddleAgedDread .
Thought some looked good following link but checked reviews and they are awful if anything doesn't fit and you want to return...

it's a bit gross, no good if you need a poo and I only have a boring "lane swimming" type swimsuit anyway so still need to buy something

I was also going to say this. I never bother taking mine on and off each time
