Hoping the mumsnet hive mind can help, getting married in 6 months and I don't know where to start with a dress. I am not in the UK so can't get to a bridal shop and I would like a western style wedding dress which are hard to find here!
Needs to be available online, I think I would like a V neck type neckline with an A-line skirt or something not to clingy on the bottom. I am small chested and quite petite in the shoulders so anything that shows off that area as opposed to my huge thighs. Generally a UK10 in size but I could easily have it altered from a bigger size if needed.
Full length or tea length, it will be hot so no sleeves and nothing too heavy but I do love embroidery. Doesn't have to be pure white but pretty pale in colour, also doesn't need to be an actual wedding dress infact its better if not because I don't want to spend a fortune, maybe £500 a little more if I really really love it.
I love some of the needle and thread dresses but I worry the champagne or pink colours most of them come in are a little dark and I will look like a guest not the bride. If anyone knows somewhere I could get a similar embroidered style but on a whiter base that would be perfect.
