Another Tragus piercing question…

Hey everyone,

I’ve written in here before about my Tragus piercing which I absolutely love and had some great help from you all.

Stupid question…I seem to be over the flares, little piercing bumps gone etc. I’m still not sleeping on it. Had a few falls from my horse onto it which set me back but now I’m 10 months in and I’m wanting to change it.

Last time I went to the piercer (fab) and they said it wasn’t ready at 6months. They are great. It was right and I was blindly hoping it would be ready.

I totally didn’t realise it would take so long, but I’m thinking now how will I know when I am ready?

Should I be able to touch it? I stay well clear of it apart from if I have a flare then I spray it, occasionally have to get crust off it.

When did you know yours was ready?

It’s quite a trip to the piercers as I live rural. Thought I’d ask you all first before I run in like an eager child at Christmas again but to be told not yet (and I do listen to the experts).

Thank you all for listening and for past help.

PS I want my daith doing next - is the process as long just so I know.

PPS I’m 51 and I feel such a rebel

Had mine done around 15 years ago and I don't remember it being a drama at all.
I just left the original stud in for about a year and have had a hoop in every since.

Thanks. I think the falls didn’t help mine. It’s like buttered toast. I land Tragus side down! Can’t wait for a hoop!

My Tragus took a good year to heal as it got bumped a couple of times. I think I changed to my final diamond stud at about 13 months.
