Travel Bottles

Hi - really basic question, I'm embarrassed I have to ask tbh!

I changed my skincare a few months ago and it's made a massive difference, however, for the first time ever, it doesn't come in a mini/travel size! I have bought travel bottles before, but must be doing something wrong, as it just didn't seem to work out, I made a mess of it/they leaked everywhere etc.

So really, I guess I'm asking are there any travel bottles that work?

Loads of places sell them- Boots, supermarkets, Amazon.

I also recycle my old plastic bottles, like mini shower gels, face cream containers, etc.

Just tighten the tops !

I like the travel bottles that are the plastic soft packs, much easier to get any product out.
Have you also looked on eBay for any tester/beauty box sizes?

Dont fill them all the way full, leave a bit of an air gap. Then squeeze out the air so that the bottles are sort of caved in. This gives space for the air to expand when the bottle is on the plane and the top wont pop off as a result.

You can also get silicone bottle wraps that go over the bottle lid. I have only seen them and not tried them, but they are meant to hold the lid firmly in place (so would likely resist the air expansion lid popping situation)

I bought a Nalgene set from Amazon which are all different shapes and sizes. They get thrown in my backpack for camping and have never leaked.,

Ahh these are excellent tips thank you - especially the not overfill - that may have been one of my problems 🙄 Likewise with the extra covers and the softer option!

I have tried ebay and vinted, but I've had no luck, it's Garnier, nothing really fancy, but I feel better now I've had these recommendations - thank you! 💛
