Good quality t-shirts

Has anyone come across any good quality t-shirts, preferably with a bit of detail? A lot are thin and get holes easily. I’m getting some plain ones from community clothing but I’d like a couple of more interesting ones.

I saw what I thought was a quality t shirt at a good price as part of the John Lewis Anyday range. It was just a simple white tee.

Arket And Uniqlo for me.

I've just found a couple in Primark of all places. 100% cotton and a lovely soft heavy feel, like t-shirts of old.

I got a white one and a navy stripe one, but I can't see the stripe on line. There were also a couple of other colours on the same rail such as pink and a pale green.

If you go in store, then feel the fabric in your hands as some were thin and hopeless mixed in with the good stuff. They are huge however. I'm a size 12 and bought a small, but wish I'd got an xtra-small.

To my surprise, I got some really nice ones from H&M.
SuperDry also seemed better than I expected

Poetry or Wrap linen-flax or other linen mix ones. They're expensive new (£50 range) so best bought in sales or on second hand sites.

But they wash well and have variety of styles.

What sort of detail do you like? All Saints has some nice onces

Thanks all, I will take a look. I think half the problem is that I don’t really know what detail I want, I just see things I like that take my fancy and buy them then they more often than not end up looking like a dishcloth after a few washes. I’m not near proper shops unfortunately and rarely have the opportunity to check out the quality before buying otherwise that would be ideal.

Lands End is the absolute GOAT for basic t shirts - they do a million colour/patter/sleeve length combinations and honestly they last for years
