Only if you want to rock a Balkan folk dancer vibe

FoxtrotOscarFoxtrotOscar · 06/07/2024 21:07

Can you yodel?

EmmaGrundyForPM · 06/07/2024 21:07

no

SuncreamAndIceCream · 06/07/2024 21:10

I love how many of you hate it, actually!

That makes me think I've hit the vein fashion-wise to be honest 🤣

It's a bit beachwear but also manages to be slightly victorian??

Olika · 06/07/2024 22:03

I don't mind it but definitely not for a wedding.

foothandmouth · 06/07/2024 22:07

I think it's lovely for a summer party but not smart enough for a wedding

You should just do a tally of haters of the dress. More than 75% - it's good to wear to the wedding 🤡

GoodVibesHere · 06/07/2024 22:27

Perfect for a Pagan wedding in a forest.

AndThatsItReally · 06/07/2024 22:33

I really like it. It's young, fresh, a bit different and with the right sandals it'll be fine for a wedding. (Pick out the green or one of the other colours with any accessories)

Sidebeforeself · 06/07/2024 22:40

Looks a bit Glastonbury to me.

PoppyCherryDog · 06/07/2024 22:52

No not because it’s white but it’s not very formal and looks quite short. It’s not very wedding guest.

Dressinggowntime · 06/07/2024 22:56

It looks a bit like you’re hoping to play Maria in The Sound of Music

ThePoshUns · 06/07/2024 22:59

God no unless it's a woodland nymph themed wedding.

You have
It's a very nice dress. There's no reason not to wear it.

Lol!!!

I'd look for a more classic silhouette.

TruthThatsHardAsSteel · 07/07/2024 05:25

Is this irony? 🤔

AbraAbraCadabra · 07/07/2024 06:42

No too white (and too casual imo but it depends on the venue/wedding). The white rule is not just about being mistake for the bride it's also so the bride stands out in photos as the only one in white.

Jewelanemone · 07/07/2024 06:49

Reminds me of the Greek soldiers with the pom-poms on their shoes.

Funfaxfan · 07/07/2024 06:49

I would spill food and wine down it so it'd be a bad choice for me.

BoudiccaOfSuburbia · 07/07/2024 07:52

The white / cream thing isn’t about being mistaken for the bride , it’s about being a splash of white in the photos when the bride in white should draw the eye.

I think.

Or ‘white is the bride’s colour’ rather than being mistaken for the bride.

PuppyMonkey · 07/07/2024 07:56

It’s not the colour I don’t think is right, it’s everything else tbh.Grin

Life2Short4Nonsense · 07/07/2024 07:58

AmelieTaylor · 06/07/2024 20:57

i wouldn't 'too white'

😂😂😂😂😂people saying it's too short. It's the OP wanting to wear it, not you!! On me it would be well below my knee (except it wouldn't because I wouldn't be seen dead in it)

The OP asked for opinions.

merrymelodies · 07/07/2024 08:02

It looks like national dress for a Nordic country.

Bumbleebeetree · 07/07/2024 08:05

No one is going to mistake you for the bride. It's a nice dress. Wear it imo
