Remaking silver bracelet

Does anyone have experience of "remaking" a silver christening bracelet please?
My grown-up daughter has one and would like to get it melted down and made into a bangle that she can wear. I realise extra silver would need to be added but don't know if its even possible. Thanks!

Etsy might have someone who can offer this service, or a local silversmith, have you googled local silversmiths?

Any working jeweler should be able to, reworking anything in silver or gold is possible, Google working jeweler in your area or sometimes there may be a silver smithing courses where you/she could make something?

Thanks, have just contacted local silversmith to ask. Will also look at courses locally too!

You can have it made into a torque bangle so it doesn’t need a lot of extra metal.

There might not be enough metal in a baby bracelet to make an adult bangle, although it is always possible to add extra silver.
