Gold bracelet L’histoire d’or… can you recommend a UK based jewellery with decent gold jelwelry

When I lived in France, a friend bought me a lovely, simple but very elegant gold bracelet from “L’histoire d’or”. I loved it and I wore it everyday until one day I lost it 🥺

In bed with Covid today, delighted to have found the same bracelet on their website. Spent about an hour picking out a few other things as my birthday is coming up and have been feeling down lately. The prices are very reasonable.

Get to the checkout… enter all the details… then no delivery to The UK…only France and Belgium!

Silly me, should have guessed when everything is in French…

I used to work in a famous UK high street jewellers.., and wouldn’t buy from there having seen the poor quality of the stock and the number of complaints that came through the door.

Can you recommend a favourite jewellery shop?

Following as I want a new bracelet and am sick of seeing adds for”gold” that is random Gold plated crap like Monica vinader and Friends

Otherwise there's several forwarding services, I think one of the large French postal companies even has their own one.

This Histoire d’or one was not plated, very simple and light and very reasonably priced. I wore it everyday for about 3 years…until a drunken escapade on a bouncy castle 🥴😳

I’m in the same position. I bought a lovely tennis bracelet from a brand called D Louise which promises no tarnishing / fading. Time will tell!

However on the success of that one nice bracelet I ordered more and have returned them all, far too yellow looking for my liking.

i like the Tilly seevas necklaces but hate their excessive use of influencers so not sure whether to take a punt on one.

Yes, you never know what the rest of the items will be like … I had a look at reviews online of l’histoire and was surprised to see a lot of negative reviews.. but my bracelet was amazing. It’s listed as 69 euros!

Sorry to hear the Amazon page isn't working. Can you post a picture or link of the bracelet you want? A lot of jewelry is just made in China these days and drop shipped, might be able to find it directly from China for less.
