DD is a big girl. She is not fat, but she wears size GG. She is also quite ashamed because her legs are quite big and muscular...in her eyes she is " fat". She is not, as she is rather tall. When she goes clubbing, she does not know what to wear. She has only one dress that she has clearly outgrown. Apparently, you cannot wear trousers when you go clubbing (true?). I have bought her a pair of lovely boots from Boden, they look fashionable but are also very comfortable.
I will go on a shopping spree with her this weekend: what would you suggest she looks at? We used to go to TopShop, but it is sadly no more...
She tends to get bored of shopping, and buys on a whim the first thing that fits her...it never ends well...
Help!

The standard outfit for DD and all of the other girls where we are is ‘nice top and jeans’! Urban Outfitters is the go to for sparkly clubbing tops. Judging by my 2am club pickups very few girls wear dresses and heels on a night out nowadays.

Dd wears far too little a cropped top and short skirt with shorts underneath typically or a dress with "bits missing" if you know what I mean. She's muscular, very, size 12 clothes, petite length

Dd is a 34 gg. The one thing that has really helped her is a good fitted bra. Properly measured, with good lift and support. Also a body suit with proper cup sizes, it has wide set straps so suitable for wearing with backless tops or dresses. It's really important when a bigger cup size to get decent bras. Dd likes maxi style skirts, so she can get away with converse or boots, corset or v neck tops. Why not try online shopping. Take her measurements order a load from asos or shein, try a few different looks, even if you send back everything it might give her an idea of what she likes/ dislikes, without the discomfort of a shop changing room!

Thank you all! DD has a great fitting bra from Bravissimo; still, the only thing that seems to hold everything in place when dancing is a sports bra (and it does not go well with crop tops!). I like the idea of a body suit: where do you find those?

We are not in the UK, so we went to a local bra shop, had the dress with us - was for dd's debs ball and had a cut out on the back and a very low cut front. The brand is bye bra and she wore a size large.
