Invited to close friends wedding

Only small/intimate for the actual ceremony so I shall be attending the meal / evening after the ceremony
Is this ok to wear? Pair with gold strap sandals and earrings

It's nice, if the bride doesn't mind black, it looks a good choice

River Island also has this in the sale, in dark red/burgundy which is similar and avoids black if you're in any doubt

People will shoot me down here, but in my opinion, it's a no. Black is a funeral colour and I don't think you should wear it to a wedding. I think there are loads of great colours and patterns out there. Present yourself as someone who is bright and positive and happy, black doesn't do it.
Now I'm going to duck for cover!

That’s nice, especially for an autumn/winter wedding. I’ve always worn black to a wedding and no one has ever batted an eye.
