Help with long layers please!

So, I had my long hair cut yesterday and asked for layers in but I've got home and noticed that the layers on one side of my head are a good 1 - 1.5 inches shorter than the other side.

I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me if this is normal or should I be calling up and asking someone to have a look at my hair again please? Thank you 💐

Was it cut in a centre part but then the parting has changed to a side part now?

Unfortunately, the hairdresser didn't ask where my parting usually was and when I looked she kind of had it right but not quite if that makes any sense?

I have tried playing around with moving the parting though and no matter where I move it to, it is still lopsided unfortunately.
