Dybrow not working so well?

Dybrow has always been really good in the past, but I have found that the last few boxes just don't seem to work for subsequent applications. The first application from the new tube works well, but a few weeks later, I mix it up as before and leave it on as before and it barely colours the brows! Even doubling the time doesn't seem to work. Has anyone else found this? 😞

I haven't used Dybrow for a while, I buy Just For Men beard dye nowadays after seeing people recommend it on TikTok. The tubes are bigger than the ones you get for eyebrow dye so it's more cost effective, it works well and it comes in a bigger range of colours than you get for eyebrow dye. And no issue with it not working after multiple applications.

Thanks! That's interesting to know.

@marshmallowfinder I was just about to reply the same as @GirlOverboard123 you will need to do a patch test on yourself just to make sure you're not allergic to it (as you should anytime your using dye)!

Interesting… I’ve also noticed it doesn’t seem to cover greys or last the way it used to.

Yes, it used to be great but is now rubbish

ElinorDashwood68 · 02/07/2024 15:55

I use Just for Men hair dye, no mixing and lasts for ages. I just use an eyebrow brush to apply and leave on for about 10 minutes. I bought mine from Amazon for about £6

Same with Eyelure

Refectocil is still ok - amzn.to/3zsdDCA

Refectocil! and for God's sake don't leave it on long or make any careless blobs! It's quick and dark.

marshmallowfinder · 02/07/2024 17:28

Brilliant. I'll try Refectocil! Thanks!

Yes, I found this too! I use Hi-brow now from Amazon. I mix light and dark brown, as the light was a bit too light, despite me being quite fair.

Yes. I have also changed to using Just For Men beard dye. It's really good and lasts well.

Is it possible with this beard dye, just to mix the amount you need and then leave the rest to be mixed next time?

JaneJeffer · 03/07/2024 13:23

Yes @ImNotThereAmI it's in two tubes and you just mix what you need and the tubes last for ages
