Quick anyone :

Choices are low Converse : can put in an insole I think. Will look nice with dresses!
Nike AF : again with insole but lot more clunky with a summer dress

Converse are terrible for arch support so Nike AF. It’s a very normal ‘style’ to wear trainers with dresses these days so don’t worry about looking clunky.

For the Plantar - lots and lots of calf stretches!

@MrsSucculent I was going to just put some insoles into the converse and style it out but now I'm thinking my comfy AF1

I tried converter with insoles it didn't work.
I recommend birkenstocks, and skechers archfit.

@Loopylooni do you put your insoles in the Nikes or do you wear without- I am also looking for trainers to go with a dress!

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 29/06/2024 07:02

I wear insoles in chunky trainers all the time, with everything. Not AF1s, but similar Adidas style. I tried insoles in converse shoes, but the shoes weren't deep enough for them to fit properly.

I’ve got various feet/ankle problems and live in converse with an insole but it has to be the boots

Loveandluck · 29/06/2024 07:06

Birkenstock Low Bend in white, super comfortable, look great. They are other colours too.

Fraaahnces · 29/06/2024 07:06

@Loopylooni Try Converse Run Star Hike. They are like Hiking Boots on the inside. They have fabulous, cushioned, arch support and they look good. I believe the Run Star Legacy range is the same.

@Fraaahnces are these similar to the usual converse flatforms?

New balance or Skechers.

soupfiend · 01/07/2024 20:22

Basically you need any shoe that you can remove the original insole and put in orthotic insoles, thats what I have to do. Its a nuisance.

Fivews · 01/07/2024 20:24

Get onto Amazon and order some insoles from plantar people. They've been my saviour with PF over the past 2 months.
And skip the converse, no arch support with cripple you

Loopylooni · 02/07/2024 04:32

I'm now considering those fitflop rally ones as they look stylish. Anyone else recommend them?
